The Blunt City Chronicles

I’m switching gears to write a compilation of satirical and critical novellas and short stories entitled ‘The Blunt City Chronicles’. Blunt City is a fictional metropolis in Canada founded by the equally fictitious Captain Percival Blunt. The stories take place in modern times and though each story is separate, the themes of the workplace, social media, revisionism, modern oppression, tyranny, and realizing your dreams run throughout.

            The stories are meant to entertain but with an undertow pulling the reader to reflect over the state of the Western World. Using these stories I subtly ask a question; is our society the product of happenstance or was it designed and forced upon us? Put even more plainly, is this the world that we want to be living in? Let each reader judge for his or herself.

            The release is slated for the end of April.
